April 4, 2009 - TFT-LCD plants revenue is getting better, so as related component plants. All Sintek, Wellypower, and Radiant improved monthly revenue along with TFT-LCD improvements. Due to the shipment in PV module filed, and Color Filter, Sintek performed remarkable revenue in March, improved 240%. So as Wellypower improved 56%.
Sintek revenue jumped sharply to NT307 million dollars, comparing to NT90.23 million dollars in February, improved 240%. Indicated by Sintek, the main reason was the rush orders received in March. Not only reached the full capacity in March, but also in April and May. The major reason came from the increased orders from HannStar, Century, IVO, BOE, and SVA.
In addition, Sintek demonstrated that another reason for increasing revenue significantly was the shipment of PV module. Sintek PV module shipped NT40 million, and estimated to increase continually. Both Color Filter and PV module market turned better, Sintek expects the revenue will improve in April, and Q2 will turn deficit to surplus.
Beside Sintek, Wellypower also actively transform business module. The combined revenue reached NT513 million dollars in March, comparing to February increased 56.38%, and comparing to last year just decreased 4.24%. In March, Wellypower LED business unit revenue took 13%, TV tube took 40% and TV U tube took 49% of total shipment volume.
So as Radiant, the combined revenue reached NT2.887 billion dollars in March, comparing to February increased 19.49%. Radiant shipment reached 5.79 million units in March, including large size backlight unit 4.13 million sets, medium and small size backlight unit 1.3 million sets, and TV backlight module 0.36 million sets. |
